Unique Trees

In the first picture you see lots of stringy "things" hanging down from the tree. These are air roots which actually grow down from the tree and eventually reach the ground and plant themselves. They then grow in diameter to produce the extra-ordinary tree that you see in the second picture. Those are not poles stuck in the ground but roots that are growing. Amazing!!!
