Meeting Ariel's family

Before the barbeque, we went to the home of Ariel's parents and brother. Here I met her mother and father, sister-in-law and nieces, Angela and Teresa. You see Teresa (who is a student at Shengli Elementary) and Mathew having fun with pomelo fruit peel (similar to grapefruit) on their heads. Another new fruit is a water-growing black seed (the black bull-horn) with a starchy material inside. It is a beautiful seed and Ariel hopes to take me to a field where they are grown. In the last picture you see a pomelo, the black bull-horn, the peels and two different types of Moon cakes. I'm enjoying tasting and learning about these new foods.
