A Weekend at Alishan Forest Recreational Area

Hi all,

I travelled to Chiayi this weekend to visit with a friend and to go to Alishan Forest Recreation Area where great trails take you past gigantic cypress trees that are up to 1900 years old. We also went to Yu-shan National Park where we saw the sun rise over the mountains (lots of others were there also as can be seen in the picture) and monkeys in the wild. Lots of beautiful flowers and amazing scenery.
