A Celebratory Luncheon

The Shengli Elementary prinicpal, Mr. Huang, treated the student teachers, two teachers who were involved in the Halloween party and me to a great lunch at a Japanese restaurant. It was delicious and the selections just kept coming. We had shrimp and veg wrapped in dried seedweed, fried shrimp, roasted octopus, two different soups, plates of chicken, beef and pork, tofu, several types of fish, disserts and ice cream. And, none of the Taiwanese have an ounce of fat on them--I'm mystified.
