Hannah Tien's Art Show Opening

After school, I accompanied a bus load of school officials, teachers and students to the opening of an art showing by Hannah Tien. She is a very gifted young lady and is the daughter of Dr. Tien and his wife who have befriended me this year. The opening was quite a success with proclamations by the mayor's wife, a short comment by the director of the Culture Center and short speech by Hannah. You can see her work in the background of many of the photos.
Music was provided by a friend playing a traditional Taiwanese stringed instrument and a church choir which sang a Taiwanese song. The final pictures shows me with fellow teachers at Shengli and the younger Tien girls doing homework during the showing.
