Fireworks off Taipei 101--The tallest building in the world!!
The culmination of my weekend in Taipei was the fantastic fireworks display off Taipei 101 which has 101 stories and, for now, is the tallest building in the world. I spent the day window shopping in the galleria where there is an amazing Asia food court, fashion stores such as Valentino and Prada, and a wonderful book store, Page One. The evening was perfect as we sat outside and watched in awe. Being only 5 blocks from the building gave us a wonderful and exciting view. What a great way to start 2007!!!!

Nice pictures of fireworks in Taipei ... I once saw the fireworks for 10-10, it's hard to watch plain old American fireworks afterseeing how the Taiwanese do it.
I heard rumars that you might hook up with my brother Jim for the holidays ... did that work out?
I am glad to see that yo uare having such a rich and rewarding time in Taiwan, you are very fortunate. Hope 2007 goes well,
