Priceless antiquities at the National Palace Museum








At the museum you are not allowed to take pictures, so I downloaded some of the antiquities from the website. Here you see some of the most prized art pieces: 1. cabbage carved from jade, 2. Ju ware, only 71 pieces exist of this flawless ware that was used by the emperor and his family between 960-1127 AD, 3. a miniature--look carefully for the tiny passengers, 4. a beautiful picnic basket, 5. animal-shaped wine vessel made of bronze with a gold collar (4th century BC), 6. finely-carved orange lacquer box, 7. Buddhist artifact
