Using science to teach English

Today I taught a two-hour science class using Alka Seltzer (sent by my sister, Christine--I could not find anything here to use) and film canisters to simulate rockets. We also launched some 2-litre pop bottles with water and a bicycle pump--it was great fun!! We started out with observations and you can see in #5 the surprising taste.
