A Day at the beach in Kinmen

The beaches on Kinmen are gorgeous and for the most part, deserted. We had this one to ourselves and enjoyed all of the sights. You must take care though on the Kinmen beaches because landmines have been placed in lots of places (as Sandi says, "...30 % have been cleared). The metal stakes are placed to stop an invasion by sea when the tide is high. These stakes would rip up the bottom of a boat. A jellyfish has been stranded on the beach and the last picture is Michelle enjoying pickled squid. Yum!!
