The First Catholic Church in Taiwan

Our day of exploration in Pingtung county started at the first Catholic church built in Taiwan. It was constructied by Spanish monks about 300 years ago. I loved the Spanish influence of the whitewash walls and the beautiful doors. When I first saw the church I felt like I was in San Antonio, Texas.

On the grounds of the church they were having an elementary school celebration with music, snacks, games and a flea market.
